The Long Island Bar is Cork's finest cocktail bar and has the awards to prove it. They have an extensive cocktail menu with something for everyone at a reasonable price. The staff are really friendly and know their stuff and are glad to help with recommendations. The bar itself is comfortable and the resident dj's ensure a fantastic crowd with a great atmosphere.

The Blue Loo Bar, a small but charming traditional pub with a great atmosphere,is a must stop when in Glengarriff. It tends toward a mixed crowd, the staff and patrons are always welcoming. On sunny days one can sit out front under the oft-photographed mural depicting a series of sequentially emptier pint glasses and watch the village life unfold. In summer season the population swells manyfold, making it a great spot to pass a lazy day and meet fellow travelers from around the world.
